About us

Trauma & Emergency Department is the fourth department of AIIMS- Patna next to Anatomy, Physiology & Bio-Chemistry and existing in history of AIIMS Patna since 25th August 2012. Presently, it is being managed by five Assistant Professors. Trauma & Emergency Department has 44 beds catering General Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, CTVS and Paediatrics. Department of Surgery, Plastic surgery, CTVS & Neuro Surgery are operating regularly. The department is trying to start the Trauma services
