AIIMS Patna is an institution of national importance, dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare, advancing medical education, and conducting cutting-edge research for the service of the nation.
In alignment with the visionary ideals of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, AIIMS Patna is fully committed to contributing towards the creation of a Swasth Bharat, Samarth Bharat — a healthy and empowered India. We recognize that good health is the foundation of national strength, and every citizen must have access to affordable, equitable, and compassionate healthcare.
We stand firmly with the national vision of “Swasth Nari, Shashakt Parivar”, acknowledging that a healthy woman is the cornerstone of a strong and progressive family. AIIMS Patna will continue to expand and strengthen women-centric healthcare services, focusing on preventive care, early diagnosis, and treatment, particularly in areas of maternal health, nutrition, reproductive well-being, and cancer screening.
Furthermore, “Buzurgon ka Samman” — respect and care for our senior citizens — remains an integral part of our institutional values. Our commitment is to ensure that the elderly receive specialized, dignified, and empathetic healthcare. We aim to build age-friendly services and promote holistic well-being for our elderly population, both within the hospital and in the community.
As we move forward, our aim is to not only advance clinical excellence but also foster an environment of ethical medical education, impactful research, and inclusive healthcare delivery — reaching the last mile, the last person.
As the Executive Director, I envision AIIMS Patna becoming a model of patient-centric care, academic excellence, and ethical leadership. We will continue to work tirelessly to uplift healthcare standards in Bihar and the surrounding regions, ensuring that AIIMS Patna not only serves as a center of healing, but also as a pillar of trust and hope for millions.
