Introduction

The Information Technology (IT) Cell at AIIMS Patna is responsible for managing the hospital’s digital infrastructure, including information systems, networking, cybersecurity, and telemedicine services. It ensures secure and efficient use of technology in patient care, administration, and research activities. The IT Cell operates in compliance with government policies and continuously works towards enhancing healthcare delivery through innovation and digital transformation.

Infrastructure

1 Gbps Internet leased line through NKN.
1 Gbps backup Internet leased line through BSNL and Power Grid.
Network Firewall/UTM (Unified Threat Management System).
Centralized Network Monitoring System to monitor Network devices.
Smart Rack with Power, Cooling & Fire Suppression features for IT Equipment's.
Wired and Wireless LAN(Local Area Network) of 1Gbps.
Aadhar Enabled Biometric(AEBS) Attendance System for employees.
HMIS :- E-Shushrut (G5) managed by CDAC Noida.
E-File System :- E-Office (Premium) Managed by NIC.
Telephones with broadband and EPABX System : BSNL.
CCTV Surveillance System of approx. 200 cameras.
40Gbps of Core Backbone Network,10Gbps of Distribution Network.
